February 15, 2009.

Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

You will be notified by March 31st whether your application has been successful.

The Application Process

The application form has to be completed online (see link below). You must send the original printout of the application with your personal signature, your supplemental documents and materials, and 4 copies of these materials in one package to the DAAD New York office. Be certain to submit all materials and the correct number of copies (4) of each. Incomplete or late applications can not be accepted.

The Supplemental Documents comprise:

- Your Resume

- Statement of motivation (incl. study plan)

- Two letters of recommendation from professors in your major field of study.

- Proof of institutional contact with Cologne UAS.

- Statement of Support and Credit Eligibility.

Please do not call our office regarding the status of your application. You will receive an e-mail confirmation or letter of acknowledgement approximately three weeks after the deadline.
