(F10) Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering Science

The faculty offers courses in informatics and the engineering sciences (electrical and mechanical engineering). The desire for shorter courses has led to new qualifications (bachelor and master). Courses in mechanical and electrical engineering and informatics now comprise many research and study areas that offer various specialisation options.

As a special feature, all engineering courses share the same foundation course, which allows students to wait until the third semester to decide on a field of specialisation. The special hallmark of the informatics course is its wide variety of subjects, ranging from General Informatics through Technical Informatics and Business Informatics to Media Informatics.

This Software Quality research centre analyses issues of designing computer-assisted systems in the context of human thought processes and actions based on proven IT, scientific theory and empirical science methods.
