Institute for Research in Social Work (IRIS)

The central focus of the institute is on the disciplinary aspect of social work. Research and teaching in the field of social work are updated by an interdisciplinary approach. Fields of specialisation: evaluation research in the fields of social work, theory development and critical monitoring of pro-fessionalisation. The goal is to achieve a critical and systematic view of the requirements of an ac-tion-based science.
